Local Advisory Board Members

We are looking for volunteers to join the Local Advisory Boards (formerly Governing Bodies) of the schools.  We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have a good knowledge of education and are able to commit to attending 6 meetings a year plus training events and visits to the school.

The Local Advisory Board member will

•           Be able to think critically with the LAB school;

•           Be responsible for working with the LAB school to ensure that it delivers an outstanding education;

•           Together with the Head of School, set the school’s aims and policies.

•           Be skilled in their area of expertise.

•           Be able to work as a team, under the leadership of the Chair of the LAB.

If you feel you have the enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to undertake this very important role then we would like to hear from you.
